Getting started
What do I need to sign up? +
Just your birth date, birth time, and birthplace. No email, no password, no account to create. Birth time is optional — you can skip it and still get a meaningful reading, but adding it later unlocks house placements and precise timing.
I don't know my exact birth time. +
That's okay. Use your best estimate, choose "approximate," or skip. With date and place alone you still get your numerology, your Moon nakshatra, planetary positions, and sign-based analysis. You can refine the time later in Profile — your chart recomputes instantly.
How long does setup take? +
Under a minute. As you enter each detail — date, time, place — the sage reveals something about you immediately. There's no "computing…" screen. The onboarding is the first reading.
Talking to your sage
What should I ask? +
Anything real. "Should I take this job?" "Why do my relationships follow the same pattern?" "When is a good time to start something new?" The sage answers in the context of your specific chart and current planetary period — not generic advice.
What are the follow-up chips under each response? +
After every answer, the sage offers two or three suggested next questions. Tap one to go deeper, pivot to a related theme, or ask about timing. They're contextual — you'll never run out of threads to pull.
What are Reading Cards? +
Self-contained insight cards — Core Nature, Strengths, Blind Spots, Career, Relationships, Right Now, This Year, and more. Tap any card to expand it or to start a conversation pre-loaded with that context.
Why does the Home screen change? +
Home is a living portrait of your current cosmic state — today's transit, this week, your active planetary period (dasha). It updates as the sky moves. Open the app in the morning to see what the day's energy supports.
Your Circle
What is the Circle? +
People in your life — partner, boss, family, close friends. Add their birth details and the sage can read compatibility, explain dynamics, and guide how you show up with each of them.
Do the people I add know I've added them? +
No. The Circle is private. Their details live on your device and are never shared or stored on our servers.
Billing
How do I manage or cancel my subscription? +
Subscriptions are managed through your app store (Apple or Google). Open Profile → Subscription to go straight there. You can cancel anytime — your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
I was charged but something looks wrong. +
Email support@sagemuni.com with the order receipt from your app store and we'll make it right.
Privacy & your data
Where does my data live? +
On your device. Your birth details, chart, Circle, and conversation history stay local. LLM responses route through a thin proxy so we can answer your question — nothing about you is persisted on our servers.
Are my conversations used to train AI? +
No. We don't train on your conversations, and we don't sell your data. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
How do I delete my data or account? +
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete my data. Or email support@sagemuni.com and we'll help. See Account deletion for what gets removed.
Troubleshooting
The sage says something that doesn't sound right for me. +
First, check your birth details in Profile — a small error in time or place can shift house placements. If the details are correct and a specific reading still feels off, tell the sage directly ("that doesn't land — here's why…"). It'll adjust. If a claim looks factually wrong, email support@sagemuni.com with a screenshot.
My chart doesn't match what another astrologer told me. +
Most Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac; Sage Muni uses the sidereal zodiac of classical Vedic astrology. Your Sun sign, Moon sign, and Ascendant can all differ. Both systems are internally consistent — they're different lenses.
The app is slow, crashing, or won't load. +
Try force-quitting and reopening. If it persists, update to the latest version from the app store. Still stuck? Email support@sagemuni.com with your device, OS version, and what you were doing when it broke.
