Terms of Service — Sage Muni

These terms govern your use of Sage Muni ("the app"), operated by Disirius Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore ("we", "us", "our", "Disirius").

By creating an account or using Sage Muni, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The Service

Sage Muni is a Vedic astrology application that computes natal charts from astronomical data and generates personalized readings, conversations, and timing insights using AI narration grounded in classical Jyotish.

2. What Sage Muni Is

Sage Muni computes your Vedic birth chart against precise astronomical data and reads it through the lens of classical Jyotish — a 5,000-year-old tradition of personal guidance with extensive scholarly literature.

The chart computation is deterministic and tested against published ephemeris. The interpretive layer applies classical rules and patterns, refined through training and expert review.

When Sage Muni tells you what your chart says, it does so with the depth and rigor of the tradition it draws from. It is meant to be taken seriously as a framework for self-knowledge, reflection, and timing awareness.

3. The Nature of the Insight

Astrological readings speak in tendencies and probabilities, not certainties. The chart describes a current; what you do in that current is yours.

We do not guarantee that any specific reading, timing prediction, or compatibility assessment will manifest exactly as described. Use Sage Muni as one valuable input among many — alongside your own judgment, the people you trust, and qualified professionals where the stakes warrant it.

4. Not Professional Advice

Sage Muni is not designed to replace, and should not be used as a substitute for:

Medical care. It cannot diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Always consult a qualified medical professional for anything involving your health, medication, pregnancy, fertility, or treatment of any condition.
Mental health treatment. It is not a therapist, counselor, or crisis service.
Legal advice. It is not a substitute for a lawyer.
Financial or investment advice. It does not provide guidance on investments, taxes, trading, or major financial decisions.

For matters in these domains, consult a qualified professional. The chart can help you understand your tendencies and timing — a doctor, lawyer, therapist, or advisor can act on what they find in their own discipline.

5. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Sage Muni. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 16 or older.

If we learn that a user is under 16, we will promptly delete their account and data.

6. Your Account

You may create one account per person.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app to harass, stalk, or harm any person
Enter false birth data for the purpose of impersonating someone else
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app or its algorithms
Scrape, copy, or systematically extract content or data from the app
Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the app
Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app's content or readings
Attempt to circumvent usage limits, subscription restrictions, or security measures

8. Circle Members

You may add other people to your Circle by entering their birth details — including your children, partner, parents, friends, or anyone else you want to understand better. When you do so:

You represent that you have their knowledge and permission to share their birth details (or, in the case of your own minor children, that you do so as their parent or legal guardian)
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter
Circle member data is stored on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, or store it on our servers.

9. Subscriptions and Billing

Free tier

Includes a daily question limit (currently 50 questions per day)
Access to your personal reading and chart

Sage+ subscription

Unlocks unlimited questions, Circle members, compatibility readings, timing alerts, and additional features
Billed monthly or annually through Stripe, Apple App Store, or Google Play Store

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period
You will be charged at the current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Profile → Manage Plan
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
You retain access to Sage+ features until the period ends

Refunds

Refunds are handled per the policies of your payment provider (Apple, Google, or Stripe)
We do not process refunds directly for App Store or Play Store purchases

10. Intellectual Property

The Sage Muni app, its Vedic astrology engine, knowledge unit database, algorithms, design, and branding are the property of Disirius Pte. Ltd.
AI-generated readings and responses are produced for your personal use. You may share them, but you may not commercially redistribute them.
Your conversations and the personal data you provide belong to you. We claim no ownership over your data.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Disirius shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app
Disirius shall not be liable for any decisions you make based on the app's readings, predictions, or insights
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or SGD 100, whichever is greater

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Disirius Pte. Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

Your use or misuse of the Service
Your violation of these terms
Your violation of any third-party rights, including the privacy or consent of people you add to your Circle
Any decision you make based on Sage Muni's readings, predictions, or insights

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Sage Muni is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
Warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any astrological content

14. Privacy

Your use of Sage Muni is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

15. Termination

By you: You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. See our Privacy Policy for details on what is deleted.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in activity that harms other users or our infrastructure. We will attempt to notify you before or promptly after termination.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Your continued use of Sage Muni after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If you disagree with the changes, you may delete your account.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
